LUMIÈRE is a discovery and price-comparison site for candles that sell themselves on sight: pearled-wax bowls you refill for years, floating light, sculptural forms, and one scented paper ritual.

We choose by eye, verify against the maker, find every merchant that actually sells the item, and show you their offers with the date we read them. You buy from the merchant. We may earn a commission when a merchant has approved us; your price never changes.

The catalogue is deliberately small. There is no attempt to list every candle in the world — only the ones worth photographing.
